Hey there, I'm Alexandra Perry -- mostly go by Alex.
I'm Bay Area resident, a devout follower of Christ and a passionate creative. My love for capturing real moments, telling stories and experiencing the fullness of life through my lens has led me to work in many facets of the media space.
With a strong background in design, my love for aesthetics runs deep. But my curiosity ultimately led me to the realms of video/film/photography. After earning a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Design from CSU Chico I spent 6+ years in the L.A. Industry. It was there where I started small, getting coffee & bagels; and eventually made my way into coordinating & managing productions for companies and networks such as Disney, A&E, Bravo, ESPN, and the NFL.
Since transitioning back to Northern California in 2019, from which I am from (born n' raised near Sacramento) I've been deepening my experience as a cinematographer, producer and photographer. I can more often be found documenting community driven organizations + companies and I have a special ardor for live events; such as conferences, music, weddings, film festivals, and more.
Lastly, since returning up state I have delved into educating, now of nearly 6 years I have been teaching a variety of media skills to the 'pros of the future'. Being able to mentor & support aspiring young producers on & off set has been so special to me. It's especially a joy and an honor to make professional media experiences and equipment more accessible to Bay Area's under-served youth.
